This organisation is run by the members for the
members. As
far as possible, special interest groups and courses are led by
members.
Guest lecturers are recruited for
courses
requiring special expertise. Lecturers and leaders receive
no payment.
For this reason, our membership fees are kept to a
minimum, and members
may attend as many courses/classes as they wish.
Special
interest groups function throughout the
year; courses are
generally run for a term, though in the case of popular subjects, they
may run all year.
Classes are of a two-hour
duration, with
a coffee break during that time.
A charge of $2.00 is made for
morning/afternoon tea.
Are you interested in joining U3A?
Interested non-members
are welcome to attend up to 2 sessions for a charge of $2.00 per
meeting for morning/afternoon tea.
